These “beans” turned out so good my boyfriend called them Refried Love. They started out being the walnut taco meat but then I added a bunch of things until they turned into more of a bean flavor and texture.

whoa..sorry about that up there! lol... i just found the 'spanish rice' recipe and a cheese sauce recipe, and i'm totally going to use this to make rice-and-bean burritos. i had some from quintessence in nyc and they put sun-dried tomatoes in their beans also, if i'm not mistaken...and they were HELLA good...;-)

I'm new to raw foods and have a question about this recipe. How long do you soaked the brazil nuts for? Thanks for any help.

Delicious! My husband was craving for refied beans buritos, and I offered him this version raw. He was amazed how good it looked and tasted. Yummy. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I am going to try this one soon. When I did not eat so healthy, years ago, I used to love refried beans a lot, and the bean buritos from Taco Bell. The texture of the mixture in your picture does remind me to refried beans. It looks delicious and tasty. I love mexican food too.
