This is a really yummy and creamy smoothie! It can also be a pudding if you use less water! You can use lemon juice for part of the water, if you want a more tart flavor.

Recipe Directions

1. Put the water, avocado, and strawberries into the Vitamix or other high power blender. Blend on slow speed until creamy. If using frozen berries, you may want to add them after blending the avocado and water.

2. Add the Medjool dates and blend (adding more water if needed) until thoroughly combined.

3. If making a smoothie, adjust water so it will pour into a glass.

4. If making a pudding, keep the water to a minimum for a nice thick, spoonable consistency.

Yum!!! I didn't have any avocados on hand and only 2 dates. So I just used frozen organic strawberries, 2 medjool dates, 1 cup almond milk, raw honey, and some plain yogurt for creaminess. I will try it again all raw and with an avocado (but do try it with raw almond milk, it makes it so tasty). It's a good base recipe to play around with!
