Recipe Directions

1. Blend bananas, date, water, and olive oil in Vitamix on high.

2. Add ice. Blend on high again until the mix is like a slushie. Add more ice to make the texture less watery.

3. Garnish with cinnamon and enjoy!

Who knew you can make something that so resembles the classic? And without the use of nut milk too!

And yet, the first time I tasted this with cinnamon, I thought, “Hmm, tastes like Christmas.”

And my grandmother said, “Hmmm, if a person didn’t know better, they would think this is watered down cow milk.” To which I replied, “Like skim milk?!”

Why would it not work in a normal blender? I can blend ice and nuts in mine...

I tried it in a normal blender, and it came out chunky. Maybe yours works better. If you make it, tell me what happens please!

I have a vita-mix but cannot imagine this wouldn't work in a regular blender. Looks really good, should try sometime.
