Recipe Directions

1. Blend together the first 7 ingredients in a food processor until it sticks together somewhat like dough.

2. Ball up the dough and flatten or roll out and then cut into the shapes you want. I used the top of a small glass to cut out the circles.

3. Put in dehydrator at 105 Fahrenheit until crispy.

4. Meanwhile, mix together the last ingredients and do some tasting to get it to your liking. Don’t store in fridge cause it gets really hard!

5. Spoon filling onto a cookie and smooth another one on top. Eat!

Notes:

Remember, you don’t need to use my filling! There are probably lots of fillings on this site or you could use plain nut butters, chocolate ganache, or whatever!

The possibilities are endless! Yippie!

Domesticgoddess's Thoughts

By domesticgoddess

Last night, I was dreaming of Oreos, so when I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was get out my food processor and made up a batch of these babies!

My first raw recipe!

Then I noticed there were already a bunch of Oreo type recipes here.

Oh well, one more can’t hurt, right?

Also, in all my excitement, I didn’t measure so these are all approximates!

mmmm! these are cooking up in the dehydrator right now, but I can't stop munching on the dough. I used mixed raw nuts (pecans, brazil nuts, almonds, and hazelnuts) and 1/2 carob and 1/2 cacao. I also added cinnamon and used a little water to form the dough.

Thanks!
