Okay, so I was making my morning juice as usual. Every morning I feel so wasteful throwing away my vegetable pulp, but today i discovered something to do with it. This is what i used but feel free to mix and match however you like.

Recipe Directions

1. All you do is mix the pulp with all other ingredients. Pop it into the dehydrator, and take it out when the outside is crispy. It should take about 7 hours or so.

2. Put two patties on a plate on a bed of mixed greens.

3. Spread Vegenaise on top. I probably used all together 2 teaspoons for all 4 patties.

4. Mix the avocado, cumin, lime juice together like your making guacamole.

5. Spread that on top of the patties. Add thin slices of red onion and lots of sprouts and enjoy!

I LOVED your veggie pulp patties! I added more olive oil to get the whole thing really moist. The avacado spread was perfect for them! Instead of the rest, I put sunflower seeds on top of the spread and ate it like that. I'm very pleased. I made 2 batches already. :-) I think this may be a daily thing. Thank you for sharing!

Vegetable Pulp Patties
5
5 out of 5

I juiced a wedge of purple cabbage, an apple, a peeled jicama and 2 stalks celery. First time trying jicama and I was really happy with how good the juice was. Not sure but may have killed my juiceman. It made 6 patties and since I started them so late I took them out of the dehydrator at 5 hrs. and kept them in the fridge overnight and just put two of them in the dehydrator for 2 hrs. before lunch. I topped one w/ tomato & one w/ avocado and wrapped them in romaine like a sandwich. Yum and the others are there to have over the next couple of days. Awesome veggie burgers and they seem like a good camping food too. Not heavy at all but real filling. THX megan!

I make delicious crackers from the pulp by adding a handful of ground pumpkin seeds, a T. or so of chia, a handful of buckwheat crispies and some salt. Then dry until crisp, they are my favorite crackers. I am going to try your patties now! I too felt guilty about throwing the pulp into the compost.
