This is a basic recipe for a great frozen banana treat! And all with no ice cream maker! You can top this with anything! This morning, I just topped this with a small amount of cacao nibs, but you can also make a chocolate syrup as well and add your favorite dry fruit! This is an absolute favorite in our house! Enjoy!

Recipe Directions

1. Process all of the above, except for the mylk, in the processor and let process for at least a minute.

2. During this time, add a small amount of mylk of your choice or even raw kefir if you have some. Add only enough to help the mixture go from quite crumbly to a smooth, almost soft serve ice cream like texture.

Yum, I do this all the time without the added liquid. I like to add vanilla bean, cacao nibs, and cherries.

I usually buy a ton fresh while they're in season, then I pit and freeze at least half of them, so they're usually fresh-frozen.

Oh Cherries sound like a wonderful addition! Do you use dried or fresh? I bet both would taste phenomenal!

I use my green star juicer to make banana soft serve from frozen bananas -- many times I add raw cacao and/or walnuts and pecans. I think when cherries are in season, topping it with raw cacao syrup and cherries would be magnificent!!!
