Recipe Directions

1. Put all ingredients except sweetener in a container. I use a half gallon jar. Shake to mix. That's it, you're done!

2. When ready to eat, just add warm water (about 1/2 to 3/4 cup depending on the thickness you prefer) and stir.

3. Let it sit a few minutes, and it'll thicken.

Notes:

This recipe multiples easily, the ratio is 2 to 1 to 1/2.

Buckwheaties are soaked, dehydrated buckwheat groats.

For sweeteners, sometimes I will dry apple peels and grind them into powder, it makes a great sweetener. It is also good without sweetener, the dried fruit is often enough You can also add nuts for a little extra something.

It is easy to pack so that I can eat at work. My mom, who isn't raw, is hooked! I made her two-gallon ziplocs to take home with her, she lives several states away.

I usually eat about a half a cup of dry mix. I pack it in small bags or containers with sweetener.

Oooh sounds good! I'll have to try it. A little belated, but I can only imagine this would make staying raw so much easier in the winter time....
