Now that I have been dehydrating for 3 years, I am happy to share my best dehydrator recipes with you!  Here are some of my favourite raw dehydrator recipes. These links all go to my own simple raw dehydrator recipes, which I share with you for free here on my website:

Kale chip dehydrator recipes

Kale chips - Throw some kale in a bowl, season and dehydrate... and you have kale chips! Crispy and full of flavour. Perfect for snacking in front of the boobtube! (I also have yam chip and zucchini chip recipes too, but kale chips are the best!)

Cracker dehydrator recipes

Crackers - I always have raw crackers on hand. One of the most useful of dehydrator recipes, raw crackers help you make a meal quick - just take a cracker, top with tomato, cucumber, sprouts and perhaps a nut pate or some sliced avocado. To die for and so easy!

Raw bread dehydrator recipes

Raw bread! Soft, moist and spongy. I am not kidding!

Raw onion bread: The best, most pliable and awesome onion bread. It's famous in the raw food community!

Raw veggie burger dehydrator recipes

Raw veggie burgers! Use some crisp romaine lettuce as a "bun" and top with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers and a dollop of raw mayonnaise and you are set!

Cake and loaf dehydrator recipes

Raw carrot cake, zucchini bread and raw sweet bread. Oh yeah! All threee of these dehydrator recipes use "psyllium husk" - which is the secret to dehydrating moist breads that turn out nice and spongy (not hard as rocks).

More dehydrator recipes

Lots more of my favorite dehydrator recipes here!

These are some of the best simple, raw dehydrator recipes that I have come across over my three years of dehydrating extensively. What are some of your favourite raw dehydrator recipes?

Excalibur is best, but expensive: check out my product recommendations here: http://therawtarian.com/store/
I just got a new Sedona model dehydrator - it's brilliant! I highly recommend it. Richard.

My pleasure Diane. Enjoy your Excalibur! Let the fun begin :)
Hi-- I have a new dehydrator, and am using it to make almond flour out of all the almond pulp I've been saving from making my almond milk. I have a Vitamix with the optional "dry container" for grinding flours, and I'm collecting quite a quantity of almond flour now. But what to make with it? Please help! (I'm gluten-free as well as being vegan, by the way, so need gluten-free suggestions if possible.)

Awesome! Try these - just use almond flour instead of almonds. http://www.therawtarian.com/raw-lemon-bars-recipe (not sure if this recipe has gluten)
I make paleo bread with my almond flour (along with coconut flour and flax meal) and it's delicious! There are quite a few recipes on the internet you can google. I'm still experimenting and have added some pumpkin and halved the eggs (the gluten free recipes always call for a lot of eggs for binding). I find if you use soaked flax or chia (or a combination of the two) seeds to replace half of the eggs the recipe calls for, it works as a brilliant binder. After you soak these seeds they become very gelationous and work as an excellent binder in gluten free bread recipes. Happy experimenting!
just got my Sedona yesterday and started dehydrating today. In there now mini banana bread slices to turn into crisp little treats!!!
Painfully waiting 5 days waiting for my Sedona to arrive! Cant wait to try these!

Patience is a virtue :)
Hello :) I'm Lyann I'm slowly becoming a raw vegan and seem tobe so hungry sometimes and so I googled more recipes and saw that I could eat dehydrated foods ! Which dehydrator would you recommend ? Anyone feel free to put your input Than you !
The Rawtarian's picture
Hi Lyann, Best dehydrator is 9-tray excalibur, hands down. But... it is expensive! http://tinyurl.com/ah6o3qt You can also get a Vegikiln - they are cheaper, white, not as "reputable" but they get the job done: http://tinyurl.com/avb59e3 You should get a 8-to-10-tray, and do not get a round dehydrator.
