Wow, it has been a very busy couple of weeks! I am having so much fun and getting so much satisfaction from the new members-only area of my website, The Rawtarian's Kitchen. I've said it before, but it's the realization of a dream for me.

For a few years now I've been desiring a private community where positive mindset and health combine. Where friends gather to encourage one another. Where tips are shared and physical, mental and emotional breakthroughs happen. Where steps towards better health are made every day, leading to increased confidence, hope and just plain feeling excited about life and your own existence.

I have created this place. I was nervous about so many things.. the technology, whether you would be willing to open up, whether you would be kind to one another. Whether I would be able to help.

It has been interesting to see TRK transform. Really, when I opened the doors I had some plans, but a lot of what has happened over the past two weeks has been ... organic. I've been trying to respond to what TRKers want, and so far it has been leading TRK into a direction that I didn't anticipate. It has become a place to find like-minds, to celebrate successes and to find commonalities. And I couldn't be happier!

I provide the resources - videos, tips, answers to questions, recipes, meal plans, structure, technology, apps, ebooks, online courses. And TRKers share their favorites with one another, suggest tweaks, come up with amazing ideas, create spreadsheets for one another and are just plain amazing.

And a story that truly rocks my world... Picture this. You're in the grocery store, shopping for your TRK 30-day raw challenge. You pass a half-filled temporarily abandoned shopping cart in the bulk aisle, and catch a glimpse of a shopping list sitting in the temporarily lonely shopping cart... a Rawtarian shopping list in someone else's cart! You are shocked. Someone else in this store is embarking on the same journey as you! And the owner of this shopping cart with the Rawtarian shopping list is somewhere in the grocery store right now! You hover near the cart. Eventually, the cart owner reappears, arms full of veg, fruit, nuts and seeds, "Is this your cart?" you ask. "I couldn't help but notice that you've got a Rawtarian shopping list. I'm also a TRK member and I'm also picking up some raw food supplies!!"  A conversation ensues, and a new friendship is born. This is a true story!!!!!!!!!!

Connecting other people who would otherwise never had a reason to chat in the grocery store. To fuse friendships and to make one another feel a little less alone and a little more supported on their journey.

My heart is glowing. This is my purpose.
