Raw avocado dulse salad recipe

1 firm but ripe avocado
6 large romaine lettuce leaves
1 tablespoon dry dulse seaweed
1 teaspoon raisins (optional)
Directions
1. Chop romaine lettuce. Place on plate.
2. Cut avocado in half. Spoon out into bowl with a spoon. Chop into bite-sized chunks. Crumble dry dulse seaweed into the bowl. Stir gently until avocado is coated in dulse, similar to photo.
3. Dump avocado bowl on top of lettuce. Top with raisins.
4. Serve with raw vinaigrette dressing on top - to taste.

Hi Andrea, I can purchase it at my regular grocery story near the seafood. You can also try your local health food store (call first - it's way easier that way). You can also try Japanese or Asian markets if you live in a larger area.

Hi Kyle, this would be a medium-sized lunch. You might want to have some fruit and nuts before/after to feel stuffed!

Sounds stupid but I hadn't thought of dulce in a salad. That seaweed and set combo with the fruit sounds delicious. Will try tonite

Hi Susie, they are not raw but certainly better for you than flour rollups. I like to use raw seaweed rolls
