Nyuszi's Thoughts

By Nyuszi

When you have extra bananas and extra basil, this smoothie recipe is a great way to use both, especially if you have over ripened bananas.

Note: If using over ripe bananas, you may want to exclude using agave. These bananas can provided enough natural sweetness. Let your taste decide.

Cheers!

This smoothie is so easy and so delicious. Thanks! Sometimes, I increase the water a little bit and replace the agave with a couple of pitted medjool dates.

Hi emmie21 - not at all - "When you make this smoothie, you will find the sweet essence of basil comes through as a hint of soft flavor that mingles nicely with banana." Even some of my "non-raw" friends tried this smoothie and loved it. Hope you will give it a try.
