I loved Alissa’s date nut Torte but wanted to vary it a little, so when I saw a recipe for a walnut cream cake here I used the blackberry jam to top the torte. I changed a few ingredients too and It turned out really good. This is quick and easy. Thanks for the inspiration.

Recipe Directions

Process dates and blackberries, set aside.

Process the rest of the ingredients. After nuts and raisins begin to turn into a ball, remove from processor and shape on a plate (heart shapes are nice). Spread jam on top and garnish with orange slices, lemon balm leaves, and blueberries (or not).

Delicious!

You can use a regular plate. After you process the nut mixture shape as you desire. A heart or a star would be a nice shape. Enjoy!

This is so good! It tastes a lot like Mulberry Pie, so that is a big plus.:) My brother who says he hates raw food absolutely loves this recipe, so i guess i'll have to make this Torte again soon~ Thanks for posting!
