Yield1 quart or so, depending on how much water you add
1½ cups raw cashews
1 young coconut, water, and meat
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup agave nectar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon turmeric (for color)
¼ teaspoon sea salt
Water (to thin to desired consistency)
1. Put all ingredients, except coconut, in the blender. Add just enough coconut water to cover cashews.
2. Start blending, adding coconut water a little at a time to keep it going.
3. When the cashews are well blended and creamy, add the coconut meat and blend well.
4. Add water to thin it to the consistency and flavor strength you like. Enjoy!

This is a raw vegan version of eggnog.
My brother dubbed it “coconog” because of the coconut.
