I serve this over kelp noodles, "teriyaki" almonds, chopped carrots, broccoli, green onion and snap peas. Really tasty. Adjust the measurements to your liking. They are not exact, but they're pretty close.

I get my yacon syrup from natural zing. If you can't get your hands on any, I suppose you can replace it with whatever sweetener you have on hand (just use less, since yacon isn't as sweet as something like agave/dates/honey). Yacon syrup is similar in taste to molasses, so I guess you could get creative from there. : )

Hey! This is good! I didn't have a coconut on hand so I used hemp milk and it's still yummy. I also used Mongolian Sesame Oil - it was what I had on hand - and it's got a nice bite!

it comes from a yacon plant!! haha i'm serious though. it's not sweet (in my opinion) but has the consistency of brown rice syrup. it's difficult to describe the taste of it- kind of teriyaki flavored.
