2 pounds dates (pitted)
2 tablespoons honey (I used agave nectar)
1 tablespoon anise seed
1 pound walnuts (coarsely chopped)
1. Blend dates, honey (or agave nectar) and anise seed in the food processor, and then work in coarsely chopped nuts.
2. Shape into marble-sized balls and roll in confectioner's sugar (optional).
3. Keep refrigerated.
