process young coconut meat and agave nectar (sweeten to your taste ) for an extended period of time until reach a creamy fluffy consistency and chill (you will need about a cup of that). process old coconut and dates till you reach a paste. place a layer of shredded old coconut at the bottom of a dish to help make it easer to serve then dump out the date mixter spread and form in to desired shape chill for a few hours to stiffen when ready to serve spread young coconut cream on the date cake and sprinkle with dried coconut option (add layer of sliced banannas)

my daughter’s big day finally came and i had origanally planed to the wounderful watermelon cake on this site but guess what’s out of season so i had to come up with some thing simple nut free` and not to sweet my husband and i had so much fun making this one hope you like it

Tree ear, eli's cake sounds simple, but you left out, did your daughter liked it? I'm asking cause my son turnes his 1 year in a month and I'm searching the net for raw cake recipe (since I'm not Raw and have never made a raw dsih of any kind) so did it turned out elicious, if it did, maybe I can make one for my son's 1st....

Sounds really cute! My daughter put her face in the first birthday cake, but it was SAD. Can you post a picture of your little Eli and the cake?

she seemed to really like it but of course spent more time playing in it then eating it

i also made frozen carob covered bannanas which she loved!
