2. In a blender, add dates, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.Add water slowly until sauce forms to a gravy-like consistency.

3. Pour sauce over fruit and mix.

Sounds good, did you section the orange and then cut or simply peel and chop it up?

I'm thinking a slightly altered version of this might be what I'm looking for to go over a berry/banana mix.

This looks SO yummy! I'm a HUGE fan of cinnamon, and also a big fan of dates... and bananas... and apples... and... well, you get the point ;-). Thanks for this recipe - I'm SO gonna try this as soon as I get some more dates!!!

this looks awesome! I have a bunch of dates in my frig that I was trying to find a use for (I'm not a fan of eating them plain) so I'm definitely going to try this for breakfast tomorrow! Thanks for the recipe :)
