1½ cups water (more or less, depending on desired consistency)
1 banana (frozen or fresh)
1 cup berries (frozen or fresh)
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1/8 cup flax seed (ground)
1/8 cup hemp seed (ground)
1. Blend ingredients in a blender.
A nice, refreshing, pick-me-up with a ginger citrus-like zing.
Very healthy. Provides lots of antioxidants and omegas!
Note: Frozen fruits make thicker smoothies, as does less water.
