Recipe Directions

1. To make the mushroom crusts, lightly pat the inside and outside of mushrooms with olive oil and sea salt. Let sit for an hour or so.

2. Make the spinach feta cheese by combining ingredients in a blender until chunky. If blender gets stuck, add more water a tablespoon at a time to get things going.

3. Assemble everything by spreading spinach feta cheese on mushroom caps. Place topping ingredients on cheese.

4. Optionally, put in the dehydrator at 100 Fahrenheit for 1-2 hours until warm.

I love the fact that each topping ingredient is a different color.

It’s pleasing to the eyes and the tummy.

I have heard nutritional yeast is a living product. It is dietary supplement rich in minerals, B vitamins (B12) and protein. It's used alot in raw food preparation to e create a cheesy flavor to a dish. It's a really good ingredient in a Pine Nuts Parmesan. If anyone can add more please do. Thanks!

Is nutritional yeast raw? I got some at the local Whole Foods a little while ago, I hear it's good to add to protein shakes.

You live in Italy? How cool is that? My sixteen year-old is on a plane right now going to Europe. She's traveling to France, Barcelona

and finishing up in Rome. I hope to follow in your footsteps one day and live abroad, particularly Italy. Any who, this recipe is one of my favorites, when you take a bite the flavors kind of explode in your mouth. I hope you enjoy.

Hi the daily raw, this sounds and looks amazing, I am always looking for savory dishes I can make. I live in Italy and do not have access to many raw food specialty items. So yr recipe is a winner and a keeper for me thanks, :) dea.
