Ingredients
1 large head of broccoli
4-5 leaves of kale
1 cup baby spinach
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
1 lemon (juice only!)
celtic sea salt (to taste)
cayenne (optional)
Recipe Directions
It is pretty simple: put it all in the blender and pulse until it looks about the consistency of tabouli. Also, if you don't have a fresh lemon on hand, you can substitute it with apple cider vinegar... just note that if you do use the vinegar you may want to use a little olive oil as well.
Susan121's Thoughts
By susan121Sometimes I want something texturally different from the green smoothies I make, so I came up with the green chunkie! (and then laughed at the word "chunkie" for at least 30 minutes). You'll need a food processor, otherwise it will seem like a lot of food.
Personally, I think chunkies should be the new smoothies. Just sayin!
