1 large tomato (or equivalent small tomatoes)
¼ cup sunflower seeds, soaked and drained
1½ cup water
2 teaspoon agave, honey or date syrup, more or less to taste
salt and pepper, to taste
1. Throw everything in the blender and blend until smooth and warmed! 2. Taste to adjust seasonings. I like mine kind of sweet, like Campbell’s tomato soup. 3. I fill my thermos with hot water and let it sit so that it is prewarmed when I add my soup.

This soup is super quick and easy. I can easily make it in the morning and pack it for lunch, even when I am in a hurry. I originally was going to make it tomato basil soup, but I liked it all by itself, so I left it alone.
