Take-out never tasted so good.  Chopsticks are a must for this one! Note: You can also put the mushroom bowl in dehydrator until warm, but this is not necessary. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t.

Recipe Directions

1. In a large bowl, mix broccoli, garlic, chili pepper, lemon juice and sea salt. Drizzle with olive oil, let sit at room temperature. Set aside.

2. In another bowl, drizzle Braggs and olive oil on mushroom slices, add cumin, and then toss. Let sit at room temp for about 2 hours.

3. Once mushrooms and broccoli are nice and tender, transfer to a new bowl and toss together. Leave marinade behind if too wet.

4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy.

OMG why didn't I think of this ... Dinner tomorrow for sure. *Thanks for this recipe*. I don't use braggs or nama so I will try the mushrooms with just the cumin and oil.

this would also be great if you just added some of chriscarlton's "grilled meat"

i just made this without the broccoli and i love it!! i used sesame oil instead of the olive oil to give it a more authentic asian taste.

Bravo! This looks great. And great idea circleakitchen re: the ume paste. Can't wait to make this.

for those of you who don't use braggs or shoyu, a small teaspoon of ume paste works as a great sub. It is made from sour salted perserved plums (its raw) and is rich and salty like soy products. I love it with mushrooms.

I just made this and it was absolutely delicious! Though it hardly tastes like beef with broccoli.I had used another seasoning that was similar to Braggs and I did not use the chili peppers. I put it in the dehydrator at 105 degrees for 2 1/2 hours and it turned out very well.
