1 cup raw almonds, soaked 8 hours
1 pound mushrooms, i used baby portobellas
3 clove garlic
1 cup parsley
3 green onions
grind almonds in food processor until fine. add other ingredients, in order, one at a time, processing each time until nice and smooth. if you like a thinner pate, you could add some oil or some reserved almond-soaking water.
this is my first raw recipe, so tell me how you like it. i must caution that this pate means business and is for serious mushroom-lovers only. i slapped it onto a collard leaf with celery and carrot.
