I was having a craving for panang curry so here is what came of it. even my non raw mother in law loved it and is still raving about it . It has a sweet tangy flavor very true to orginal.

Recipe Directions

Soak kelp noodles for 30 minutes or so. Put in a glass dish and pour oil over noodles, marinate for 2 hours or longer.
To make the sauce, drain oil from noodles into blender container, add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Pour sauce over noodles. Toss on julienned vegetables.
You can warm it in the dehydrator if you wish.

I'm so sorry you didn't like the curry, I know how it is to make something and not like it. :( I adjusted amount of curry in the recipe so others don't have the same problem as you did.
If you haven't tossed it in the trash you could try and add more of the other spices, nut butter, and more oil to mellow out the curry flavor.

Panang Curry
1
1 out of 5

that was totally gross and a waste of a bunch of money. i follow direction very well but that was way too much curry. maybe i had the wrong kind of curry(got it from an "indian" market), but that was nasty.

Yes I really did use 8 Tbls of yellow curry I started with 5 but kept adding a tablespoon at a time until I liked the flavor you can use less.
I love a strong curry flavor, you can cut back if you want just taste and adjust to your liking. I hope it works out for you, let me know how it goes. :)
Also my mother in law ask me to make just the sauce for a dip for a party she had yesterday and everybody loved it with raw veggie sticks.

Is 8 tablespoons correct? Does this actually take a half cup of curry powder? I love panang curry and will be making this tomorrow!
