A few handfuls of Beet Greens
A couple large leaves fresh comfrey
One stalk of celery
A handful of flax seeds
A handful of goji berries
One cup of fresh blueberries
Two frozen bananas
One large ripe black plum
A couple inch chunk of fresh ginger, peeled (if you like)
A teaspoon or two of spirulina
A tablespoon or so of maca powder
Agave or sweetener of your choice, to taste
Water to desired thickness
I put some water in my blender with the goji berries and flaxseeds and let them sit for a few minutes while I got the remaining ingredients out, then blended them well. I then added the beet greens and comfrey leaves and kept blending well, then added the remaining ingredients and blended until it was smooth.
Thick, tasty, and so good for you!

This is a wonderfully healing and mineral rich smoothie. Don't be afraid of the comfrey! It is very safe to eat and use every day (yes, internally!). It is one of the best healing herbs that there is, but it has gotten a bad rap. If you are still hesitant, then just leave it out.
