Creating Healthy Habits
1 package pure acai (i use sambazon)
1 whole orange, peeled
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup cranberry/pomegranate juice
1/2 cup water
1-2 inch piece ginger, chopped
1-2 T agave
2-4 spoonfuls chia gel
blend acai and juice/water in blender, add blueberries, orange, ginger, and chia and blend. sweeten with agave to taste (depending on how tart you like it)
sip and enjoy, knowing that the purple people healer will help keep you thriving and healthy!
I dreamed up this concoction one morning after waking up with that yucky “is this a cold coming?” throat. this smoothie is packed with vitamin c, antioxidants, and other lovely healing-type goodness, and i imagine is as a giant purple beast rushing through my body and pummeling any attempted colds/coughs/fevers into sickness oblivion. yeah!
