Yeah I used to be really strict with raw but not anymore. I'm not going to stress out if I have something that is not raw. Restriction and constant monitoring of my food became quite obsessive and I suffered immensely from it. If I am 85-95% raw I am happy. The lecithin that I use is non GMO. Xylitol is not a zero cal sweetener. It has calories but has no sugar. Of course you could substitute the xylitol and omit the lecithin. The again agave isnt really raw at all. Your best bet would be some nice raw local honey!

Xylitol and lecithin are not raw, and most lecithin is from GMO soy you can buy organic but there is a lot of controversy coming up now as to whether there truly is any fully organic soy or corn since it has been grown so predominantly as gmo for so many years. I just looked up Xylitol and most sources are hardwood and maize(corn). I am sure there are things that could be substituted to make this without those ingredients.

Is lecithin raw? What about xylitol? Not questioning the integrity of your recipe, I am more interested in finding new raw options. I used to buy a liquid lecithin when I baked, I didn't know it came in granules.
