Fresh Spinach, Chard or Kale leaves
Mango with the skin on
So basically start with 1-2 cups of water
Use 2 good handfuls of one of the following fresh Spinach, Chard or Kale leaves,
I like try to add a few sprigs of Parsley too
Next goes in an apple, core and all
a ripe banana
mango with the skin on
(and anything else that looks tempting in the fridge)
(The basic formula is to use 60% fruit and 40% greens, then it looks green but has the flavour of fruit! Clever don't you think?)
I mix that up in my Vita Mix, and then pour it over the Phil's Ultimate Breakfast, and there you have it, a great nutritious way to start your day. Even our grandkids like this!! Enjoy!

What I started doing was eliminating the liquid aspect of the Phil's Ultimate Breakfast and replacing it with a green smoothie, which gave me a cross between a smoothie and a chunky, therefore we have a SCHMUNCKIE! The green smoothie itself has become known as a SCHMUNCKIE in our house.
I will post the Phil's Ultimate Breakfast recipe too
