YieldOne small pie, roughly 4 (or fewer!) servings
¼ cup almonds (yes i know they're no longer totally raw :( ), ground into a flour
¼ cup oat groats, soaked, dehydrated, and ground to a flour
1 deglet noor date, mashed to a paste
5 large strawberries
2 dried apricots, mashed to a paste
4 deglet noor dates, in paste form
2 sprinkle seaweed flakes (i used alaria)
For the crust, mix almond flour and oat flour by hand with the puree from the single date in a round, convex cereal bowl. In the same bowl, push the crust onto an even layer that comes up about an inch around the side. For the filling, blend the reamaining ingredients into a thin paste consistency, and pour ontop of the crust. Chill in the freezer for a few hours, and score a piece, to share or not to share!

A surprisingly succulent pie to both cool you down and warm you up.
