4 carrots (large)
½ cup macadamia nuts
½ cup pecan nuts
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup sundried tomatoes
½ teaspoon mixed herbs
¾ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon ground pepper
1. Everything goes in the food processor.
2. Blend and pulse away until you get a really good ‘wet’ consistency (use extra olive oil if you have to).
3. I use an Egg Ring to get the perfect shape. I put the Egg Ring on top of a Teflex sheet on the mesh tray, then dollop 1 large desert spoon full of the mixture in it and press it in and fill a little more if needed.
4. When all the mixture is used put the tray in the Excalibur Dehydrator on 105 – 110. It takes 12 – 18 hours depending on how you want your end product.
