1 ripe banana
¼ cup pineapple (dried)
¼ cup coconut (dried or fresh)
1 cup strawberries
1 tablespoon goji berries
1 tablespoon flax seed (ground)
1 cup warm water
1 tablespoon agave
1. Put everything into your blender and blend but don't annihilate. You want some texture.
All the fruits in this taste warm as if picked from the plant in a warm Caribbean sun.
The texture is beautiful. It's somewhere between pudding and a smoothie, and it leaves you satisfied.
Eat with a spoon as you want to leave some texture in there.
If you are using frozen strawberries, defrost completely and take up to room temperature before using, or the warmth will be gone. Keep everything room temperature.
The dried pineapple, coconut, and flax give it a wonderful fibrous texture. It's a warm smoothie you chew for breakfast. Love it!
I apologize for the picture. I tasted it and kept on eating. It was only due to zen-like willpower that I managed to stop where I did, long enough to take a picture! :P
