Yield1 awesome smoothie
3 dates (pitted)
1 tablespoon raw tahini (or more)
3 tablespoons carob powder or raw cocoa powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon (or more!)
1 cup ice + a bit of water
3 tablespoons cacao nibs
1. Use a blender or food processor to blend the dates.
2. Then add everything else.
3. Food process till you are satisfied with the smoothness. Enjoy!

Okay, I admit, I have made this with chilled coffee, and it is delicious.
But if you are a 100% raw foodie, coffee is not technically raw. Perhaps you would prefer a superfood, such as maca? ;)
Also, maybe a frozen banana would be good in here or some peanut butter.
Maybe you’d like almond milk instead of water. Or add a little bit of coconut flakes.
Some vanilla? Getting inspired yet? Or maybe just confused?
The answer is this is a flexible recipe. Most raw food recipes are.
Just mix in what you think would be good. Substitute. Have fun.
You are your own gourmet chef or mad scientist, if you would prefer. It is difficult to mess up a smoothie.
