Recipe Directions

  • 1. Throw the ingredients in a tiny bowl.
  • 2. Grab a spoon and take the bowl back to your TV.
  • 3. Mix it together while you're watching TV because it can take a little while to mix properly, especially if your coconut oil is hard. It'll look really dry at first, but don't add any extra anything. Just go with my measurements and mix it together slowly and carefully with a spoon. Within a minute you'll get the texture seen in my above pic.

The Rawtarian's Thoughts

By The Rawtarian

Picture this... You've just had dinner. You're watching TV on the couch. Your non-raw husband pulls out a little chocolate bar beside you, and you wish you could have a little taste of chocolate too. What do you do? You run into the kitchen and make my 1 minute raw chocolate fudge, that's what!

It's so quick that you can do it in a commercial break, and...it only requires three ingredients.

You'll notice that this makes a very tiny serving size, so you'll want to make it in a tiny bowl so that you can stir it properly against the sides of the bowl. I use little tiny custard bowls.

This raw chocolate fudge is really sweet so you don't need much of it to get a nice hit of sweet chocolate flavour.

Frozen Recipe Twist: Make a few servings of this recipe and roll them into balls. Then freeze and eat right out of the freezer. The frozen texture is amazing!

I'm not raw, vegan or any of those things but ran across this recipe and its fantastic. I did add to it though. I added 1 TBSP peanut butter, 1/2 TBSP unsweetened coconut, 1 TBSP finely chopped nuts rolled into perfect balls and then rolled them in coconut sugar. I put them in the fridge for one hour and they were FABULOUS. The additions got me 5 small fudge balls.

Definitely don't have to be vegan to enjoy a little chocolate fudge ;) Especially when it's this easy. Nice additions Elana

Me too Hayles - on all accounts except Thermomix ownership & I've just downed a delightful choc shortbread bar rather than a delightful choc ball. Hooray to you Rawtarian from another "imposter". :D

I feel like an imposter when I read the comments on this site as I'm not a vegetarian, vegan or even a Raw buff. I am however looking to improve my diet with fresh and simple foods. All I can say is WOW. I'm hooked. Thanks Rawtarian. I have tried a number of your recipes now and love them. I still get shocked at how you can turn such simple ingredients into delicious food with hardly any effort or mess. I am blessed to have a thermomix, so these recipes are perfect. I have just eaten these delightful choc balls and already my mind is going berserk on the endless possibilities they will adapt to. So quick, easy and economical. They will be great for entertaining. Much appreciate the effort you put into your site and look forward to trying more of your amazing food. ☺

Just checking.. When you say cocoa powder, you are meaning cacao powder aren't you or just plain on cocoa powder out of the cupboard?

Ideally, raw cacao powder. But instead you can use unsweetened cocoa powder out of your cupboard :)

AMAZING!

Added a dash of vanilla essence. I wish I had just raspberries to go with it. And possibly a blob of cashew cream or coconut cream :)

Thank you xxx

KellyAnn's Review

I have a similar recipe that uses maple syrup instead of honey because Im a vegan, but it tastes the same. What I like to do after making this is split it up into 2-3 mini muffin liners and place them in either the fridge (more fudge like consistency) or freezer (like a hard chocolate consistency). I also sometimes replace 1 Tbsp of the cocoa powder with PB2 powder to make it chocolate peanut butter fudge. Or, you can put a small amount of this chocolate in the bottom of a mini muffin liner, then a small dab of real peanut butter, then cover with more of this chocolate and freeze it. Homemade, raw peanut butter cup!

Peanut butter cups?? YUMMM I don't eat PB, but I love almond butter or tahini. Yummers! Great ideas KellyAnn. It's comments like yours that make this website great. :) xox

It is truly amazing! And I love almond butter as well, if I have some made I do like to use that in the centers as well. The non-vegans in my house are always stealing the fudge from the fridge! Oh and I use the paper mini muffin liners, not the foil. The paper peels right off.

Amen Lone! I think they are probably my "fastest" "recipe" yet :P (Not even sure if it constitutes a recipe lol, but I guess it does since mixing is required!)

Easy to make and tastes very yummy. I was also surprised that the whole thing is 1 serving (I made a patty a bit smaller than the palm of my hand). Definitely enough to knock out a craving!
