  • 1. Add everything (except celery and red pepper) into a high-speed blender. Blend very well until it resembles a smooth, creamy hollondaise sauce! (Note: if you don't own a super powerful blender try soaking the cashews for a few hours first to help soften them.)
  • 2. Pour yellow "egg salad" liquid mixture into a large bowl. Add chopped celery, chopped red pepper and anything else you'd like to add, like chopped parsley or chopped white onion, too.
  • 3. Mix everything together with a spoon until nicely coated, like in pictures. Sprinkle with pepper and paprika. Your raw egg salad recipe is now ready to eat!

It's surprising that raw egg salad recipes have eluded me for almost two years. Believe it or not, I've never made a raw egg salad recipe before!

To my pleasant surprise, this raw egg salad recipe is, um, totally ridiculously incredible. It actually reminds me of egg salad! I have made a few sort of similar recipes in the past, but nothing that screamed "This tastes like egg salad!!" quite like this raw egg salad recipe.

This is quite a fatty, heavy-tasting recipe, so you'll want to ensure that you're serving it with lots of nice fresh veggies, especially romaine lettuce. Yum!

Try the melt in your mouth breakfast sandwich recipe I found @ nomeatmarch.com - highly recommend more by silken firm tofu...the spice mixture &this tofu make it feel & taste like an egg...especially if you've been without for a while :0)

in other raw recipes I've always read that nuts needed to be soaked for several hours if not overnight before making recipes like this, but I followed your recipe and it came out perfectly! you've saved me so much time and now I know that I don't NEEEED to soak nuts, and my recipes arent totally ruined if I forgot to soak my nuts! you are a sparkley magical unicorn! thank you so much

Another winner! This "egg-salad" is just THE BEST!!! I followed the recipe exactly as written, and just loved it! But then...we had marinated mushrooms in the fridge...we topped off the salad with these, and the wow factor went up a level more than we even thought it could. The "egg-salad" is fun to serve in smaller leaves of Romaine lettuce, making little salad "boats." Thank-you, Laura-Jane!

This raw egg salad recipe has become a staple for us as we have transitioned to the raw food diet. It honestly tastes better than any traditional egg salad recipe. We LOVE this. Thanks so much Rawtarian. We love you! :):):):) That's my hubby there in the picture, giving you a thumbs UP! :):):)

Yum!!!! This completely did my head in (Heston Blumenthal style)! No eggs & yet....! Lol. I took note of prev posters' comments & added some sliced mushrooms for perfect egg white texture. I don't think we have 'egg salad' as such in Australia but it seems this translates to our 'curried egg'. With that in mind, I left out the red capsicum but dared leave the celery which made for delish crunch & lightness. Well done, well done! ....I think I'll use the basics of this recipe as a substitute for too-overpowe

I loved it. I added a pinch of Black Himalayan salt to give it a bit more of the eggy sulfery flavor.
The stuff really tastes like egg salad. I just went vegan a few months ago and I love eggs.
In a Vitamx it's so quick and easy.
