Sweet cravings after raw salad

JustxMeJustxMe Raw Newbie

I have two issues. First, I get significant sweet cravings after eating raw vegetable salads (big, 5 diff. veg., one cup each). I don't use fatty dressings or oils. How do I curb this? Why does this happen?

Second, I tend to feel depressed and spacey after eating them.

There is not much healthier than such a salad so can you please explain why these happen and how I can change this?

What vegetables are in the salad? Maybe it's too big or doesn't contain enough protein. Finding the right balance isn't always as easy as it seems!

Are you on 100% raw diet Tammi?

If so, can you tell me what are the benefits? Would you recommend 100% raw or do you get same benefits on e.g. 50% raw (still eating all healthy food), or are they significantly different?

I presume you eat a high carb, low fat raw diet.

I think it becomes a religion at 100% wink

I'm usually high raw but there are some ingredients I don't want to give up (soy sauce and tofu are on that list!).

So Claire, do you get similar benefits on 50% raw diet for example?

What benefits of high raw have you noticed in yourself? Is it much better than eating healthy cooked food?

Another thing, would you recommend giving up dairy?

It's true so well done for sticking to it. And I think some healthy cooked additions don't deter from health.
