Weight gain

I eat about 15 bananas a day plus a big salad for dinner no avocados.  I'm worried the bananas will cause weight gain because they're a starchy fruit. I cant afford other fruit. Anyone else experienced this?

    It's possible, but I wouldn't worry about it. In my experience, mono meals don't have that effect.

    Avoid keto!!!! You'll feel like shit and it's so bad for your body. All the animal products and eggs and dairy it's so un natural for your body. Go 80 10 10 you'll love it

    I had no energy today so I purposely ate 2000 calories of fruit I'm hoping this calorie limit wont cause weight gain

    Hi claire I think I've put on weight eating 2200 calories I'm bloated and gaining fat fast. I'm tempted to quit what should I do?

    What should I do people? I felt great and was sleeping well but I'm tempted to go back to a standard western diet of 1500 calories a day

    Are you eating a bunch of small meals or a few bigger ones?

    3 meals 2 snacks. I've replaced my fruit lunch meal with a green salad

    I'd break it into more meals (smaller, obviously) to help with staying full. It's also better for digestion.

    I hate to say it but I've gained so much weight being raw. I have stretch Mark's now on my thighs! I'm going keto to lose this weight. I'm sad raw didn't work for me but I dont want to look pregnant all the time. Thanks for your help and I'm envious of all you lucky people who can lose weight on raw but my body just doesnt suit it

    I have tried a raw diet for some weeks, not longer. I haven't gained weight, but I definitely don't lose a lot. I even read a bunch of food essays to figure out these things. I can't say I understand it entirely, but I definitely feel better on a raw diet. My parents are surprised that I haven't disappeared, but my explanations fall on deaf ears. I do fall off the wagon now and then, but I just haul myself back. I had a skin problem - that has reduced with my raw diet.

    How many bananas a day were you eating when you were raw? I'm going on a keto diet because of the weight gain

    That sounds interesting, but 15 bananas a day seems completely unrealistic. You won't gain weight in one day, but your body will have a hard time dealing with it. Bananas are high in sugar, so it's better not to eat so many of them.

    Thanks I'm now on the starch soloution diet all though I miss being raw it's just easier for ke to count calories not being raw

    well well well....some very bad advice/info on keto

     

    Health keto is actually,If done correctly the healthiest diet on the planet,the most advanced protocols for chronic illness and particularly cancer are healthy keto,plant based.

    We fully understand causation of cancer and how to control it,unfortunately drug companies don't approve and coupled with uneducated advice like we have here is the problem.

    If u take the time to consider that our bodies can use glucose or fat as energy,but fat makes us far more healthly,perform better,think clearer,process cancer cells etc etc etc you should have a realisation that we are meant to eat this way,just look at the animal world and the inuits,Japanese and Chinese they have only just started to see our western illnesses appear as our Western culture spreads.

     

    Sorry,but this is the truth,we have over one thousand scientific journals published on health keto.

    When you say plant based keto does that include meat? I'm planning on doing an egg fast then just meat and green veges

    Yes,as much plants/veggies as possible and healthy fats, some of which will be meat/fish, avocados,Brazil nuts etc plants for nutrition and fats for ketone energy.

    Changing to keto

     

    So its takes 3-7 days on a low carb diet to start producing keytones(ketosis) and start burning fat for energy.....during this period you may experience "keto flu " for me I had a headache for two days and a unusual taste in my mouth, mental clarity and high energy should follow.

    During the change over your brain has lower access to glucose and not yet ketones,hence my headache,but keep the carb level low and it helps speeds up the production of keytones.A 3-4 day water fast is part of the cancer protocol because its the quickest way to enter into ketosis, but not necessary.

    You dont need to go crazy on the volume of fats,this is a common mistake,plenty low carb plants and veggies,quality fats.

    If you want to use keto for weight loss, add some intermittent fasting,this is my choice of keto,cut to one meal a day or two with a ultra low carb lunch,you'll have plenty energy and will start to use body fat during the day as energy,ive seen the results of over 4500 people doing huge weight loss programs in this manner,quite remarkable and very healthy,I personally lost close to 3 stone.
