Has anyone ever felt a sudden temperature change in their hands or body with no obvious reason?

Hey everyone, lately my hands will just randomly heat up like I’ve been holding a mug of coffee, but I’m literally sitting still doing nothing. Last week it happened while I was reading in bed—room was cool, no blanket on my arms, yet my palms felt like little radiators for a solid minute. It’s not painful, just weirdly intense. Happens in my feet sometimes too. Anyone else get these random temperature spikes with zero explanation? I’m starting to think it’s more than circulation…

Funny how the body does its own thing sometimes. I was on a night train across the mountains once, middle of winter, and the carriage was freezing. Everyone bundled up, breath fogging, but this old guy across from me just sat there in a thin shirt, totally unbothered, palms open on his knees like he was soaking up heat from somewhere else. No talking, no fuss, just calm. I still think about that when I feel random chills or warmth hit me on the subway or whatever. Sometimes I’ll cup my hands around a warm drink for a minute and it passes. Little tricks like that make the weird moments feel less random, you know?

YES. Mine are usually ice-cold hands out of nowhere, even in summer. I’ll be typing at my desk and suddenly both palms feel like they’ve been in snow. A friend who does Reiki told me it can happen when energy starts shifting or old stress is releasing—apparently it’s pretty common during or after sessions. I ended up reading about it on https://reikiinlondon.com and it described exactly what I feel, especially the cold-to-warm waves right after. Now when it happens I just breathe slowly and imagine the energy evening out; takes maybe 30 seconds and it settles. Still freaky the first few times though!
