How much juice ?

Hello all, today I have just started on my juicing journey.

My question is how much juice do I need to take per day?

I am a 53 year old male, 5' 10" 200+ lbs I am moderately active  but aim to get into the gym soon.

My aim is to allow my body to heal itself and grow, I seem to have a lot of joint pain, I also want to lower my weight.

Sorry for all the newb questions but this is the first place I have stopped.

Today I made 4 laters of juice, is that enough for me to thrive on?

    What types of juice? Getting the right mix of nutrients is important.

    I made 4 liters of juice containing the following fruit and veg:

    3 cloves garlic

    200g baby cucumber

    5 jaffa oranges

    1/2 red cabbage 

    1 pack of celery

    350g brocolli

    250g baby spinach

    1 thumb of ginger

    3 beetroot including stalks

    3 apples

    1 lemon including skin

    1 kilo of carrots


    This is my first attempt at a juice fast, is the quantity and variety sufficient to provide all my needs?
