maple syrup instead of agave or honey

i might be really stupid but is it ok to use maple syrup instead of these other two?

    Not a stupid question.
    Maple syrup and Agave are NOT raw.
    But yummy and much better than most sweetners.
    Honey, well there are Raw Honeys out there, but
    to me it is not Vegan.
    I think I posted my honey story somewhere.
    I no longer use Raw Agave.
    I now use dates, date syrup (soaked date water) and organic raisons (raison syrup, same as dates).
    This has definitly lowered my sweet tooth.
