There will always be conflicting information from the scientific world. I just had some blood tests and my B-12 was way over the median reference range and I’ve been a raw vegan for around four years. People who eat meat can be B-12 deficient. It’s not always what you eat, but what you assimilate. Not all people have the ability to produce intrinsic factor in their stomachs or produce the proper enzymes in their mouths to digest B-12. It’s individual and no studies of what is supposed to happen or what the reported sources for B-12 are will apply to everyone. Get tested once in awhile if you are unsure of your B-12 levels. That is the only way to possitively know what’s happening to you.
