people eat from pine trees… people eat the seeds, the sap, the bark of some varieties, and the needles they use for tea, or chew on for a sour taste. a lot of plants have edible leaves… but i’ve never heard of anybody eating the leaves from a tree.
i’ve been growing fenugreek from seed, the leaves are edible, actually the whole plant is edible. its not a tree, but it will regrow if you just pick as you grow. also arugala is the same way. also experimenting with growing jerusalem artichoke, the greens and the root are edible and grows like a weed.
