WOW! That’s amazing news. I did some research on cayenne when I did a Master Cleanse recently and was amazed to find out that by many herbalists it’s considered the most important herb for health. I thought it was just for people who liked their tongue to burn. After fearing spicy foods I now have a bottle of organic cayenne with a shaker top that I sprinkle in my cacao smoothies and salads. Thanks for posting this!

  • I agree – this is great news. Spicey food, here I come!!!

haha! That’s awesome! I adore spicy food and have always known it burns calories(I know, sounds to good to be true) and tastes amazing but cancer fighting is definitely a nice new perk.

  • Oh yes, I LOVE cayenne and all things spicy (maybe it’s the Brazilian in me :))... did you know that a teaspoon of cayenne pepper will put a halt to a heart attack?? Also black pepper will have the same effect, but only if the dosage is tripled…

That is good news. The BBC also had a story about Ginger possibly helping to fight ovarian cancer: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4876056.stm
