how do i grind up flax seed

i made the yummy raw cinnamon rolls tonight but i could not get the flax seed ground up all the way. they turned out good but there are still some seeds in it. i was wondering if that is how they are suppost to be or do i do something different? thanks

    I use a coffee grinder to grind my flax seeds, sesame seeds, etc. I gets them very fine. Did you use a coffee grinder or something else?

    Oh yeah, I coffee grinder will do the trick.

    Coffee grinders work really well. So does the magic bullet.

    coffee grinder too :) Larger batches I use a Vitamix…Hey, never thought about using our magic bullet!

    I use the coffee grinder and my seed come out like flour.

    I use the coffee grinder too for smaller amounts and my Blendtec (which actually has a special cycle for “grind grains” – works great on all nuts too) for larger amounts.

    I found grinded flax seeds at Whole Foods and Mrs Greens.They are great and handy.
