Yes, parchment paper is a good substitute.
I use parchment paper in my dehydrator as well
I actually use natural wax paper and spray some raw olive oil on it. I use it in my dehydrator as I don’t have any Telflex sheets. My stuff doesn’t stick to the paper. Just remember to watch it and flip it while it is still a bit wet or it might get stuck – when using the parchment paper.
Also just to further complicate the issue, isn’t teflex just teflon? which we know causes cancer.
On the other hand that may only be after it’s heated. Though you have to wonder if fatty foods would absorb some of the teflon.
Particularly when they are often in contact with it for 24 to 48 hours in a dehydrator.
