  sometimes the ones I see that are washed and santised looking in the supermarket seem dodgy to me. I like to buy food with soil and bugs all over it.

  Well, I found out recently that the bags of baby carrots that my grandkids will eat are not really babies at all. They are carrrots past their peak that have been trimmed down to that shape. What a fraud!

  I used to be a baby carrot junkie back in the cooked food days. Within a few days eating raw food, I only tasted soap (likely bleach) on my baby carrots. i switched to the organic large carrots and have not had that problem since.
