My assumption would be that you would need to cut into strips the jelly-like flesh of a young coconut (not a mature one). But I could be mistaken.
Nope that's exactly what that means. I think its extremely difficult to get the meat out and cut it in long strips. They use it alot in curry recipes I see in raw restaurants. I don't like them very much and prefer kelp noodles or squash noodles myself.
If you get a good small spatula it works great for getting the meat out of the coconuts. Then all you do is slice into thin strips on the cutting board. But like iheartveggies I rarely use these and tend to sub other veggie noodles or kelp noodles.
