It's been my observation that you get what you pay for. Dehydrators come in a variety of price ranges and quality. There are a lot of threads on this site that discuss dehydrators . . . stainless vs plastic . . . excalibur vs sausage maker (which is stainless), etc. You might try an Advanced Search of the forums for some immediate information.
