Two Questions about Almond Meal

Hi

1.) How long does almond meal (the stuff left over from making almond milk) last? Does it still stay good frozen/dehydrated?

2.) What are YOUR favorite raw recipes that uses your left over almond meal? I like the cinnamon roll on here, but I’m looking for other stuff too!

Thanks

Yay, good question! I have some leftover almond pulp sitting in my fridge that I don’t know what to do with. Eagerly awaiting answers here… ;o)

  • I think if you weren’t going to use it in a week you should dehydrate it so it is super dry and just store it like flour.

I keep mine in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. But, I have frozen it for up to a month and it has been fine.

As far as recipes go, I have made crackers, cup cakes, cookies, & pie crusts with it and they all turn out great!

Yes, I would dehydrate it straight away, then freeze it. When you’re ready to use it in cookie, cake, or other recipes, simply grind it to a flour. Cheers!
