Let's Talk About the Home Page...

edited December 2010 in Gone Raw

Today we put a bit of work into the home page. We felt it needed a “kick” to make it look more interesting. We added a quick glance at the five newest members of our community, and also the ten most recently discussed topics. It seems to make it easier to jump right in and find out what’s new.

But we need your help. What else can we do to draw folks in? Should we add a list of the recipes most recently commented? Should we add the photos to the list of new users, so we can get to know who’s new faster? What would you like to see us do differently on the home page?

  • I like the idea about adding the photos of the new users. I think we are in need of a new backround. Something with a nature scene of some sort. Some links to informational raw websites would help others new to eating raw.

The links page is a great idea! Any favorite sites you’d like to see listed? We’re also planning to make a FAQ page that has some helpful general information for beginners.

  • I just wanted to say that you guys have created a wonderful website. It’s simple, elegant, and useful, and keeps getting better. Thanks for creating a great place for raw enthusiasts to share our recipes and ideas!

  • Aw, thanks. It’s a labor of love!

  • I really like the idea of adding a list of recipes most recently commented!! I know it’s like over a year later, I was looking at the oldest comments and came across this.
