  • Hi Coconutty, You may have to deactivate your screensaver if you have one particularily if it is importing pictures from the internet. The other reason this happens is if you don’t have the latest service pack downloaded for internet explorer. Worst…
  • Hi Miss Amber! I would try to eat sprouted lentils for the folic acid and collard greens for the calcium. Fenugreek seed (from the spice section or sprouting section at whole foods) is supposed to increase milk production. It can be sprouted too. If…
  • Hi Miss Amber! One thing you could do is take a banana and flatten it out with a rolling pin or a plastic glass if the kids are doing their own and put blue berries or strawberries (any fruit)inside- then roll the banana up. Put on a plate and cover…
  • Hi Nutgirl! Is your recipe not tart enough? I haven’t tried what you’re talking about but you may need to add in a more tart flavor. Are you soaking the almonds in it and then dehydrating? If so, then you could try getting the juice of green grapes …
  • Hi Omshanti! I also read that if you are really going to get into sprouting to get hydrogen peroxide – food grade- and put a few drops of that in with the water to cut down on bacteria growing in roots. This idea is pulled out of the air here but wh…
  • Hi Omshanti! I’m sure you’ll get this in no time- but what about sprouting, grinding, and dehydrating the grain you are working with and then making your own sprouted flour? Then add that flour to the other ingredients\recipes and dehydrate. I think…
  • Hi Queenfluff. Thanks for keeping people up on this too! The whole foods out here is under construction\remodeling so I haven’t seen any sign about the almonds but I don’t think people out here would really care anyway. We just got a whole foods a c…
  • Thanks germin8! The “almond degradation plan” as I call it is very disturbing. I have noticed that almonds at Whole Foods don’t have vitamin E on the Label. I wonder if they are already pasturized because they ARE high in vit. e normally. Vitamin E …
  • Hi Magdi! http://www.goneraw.com/recipes/1155-Corn-Pie-wi… Here is the recipe- it’s the top ingredients up to the mushrooms. I think I used about 6 ears of corn. I was mentioning in another thread that if you dehydrated them more like 8 to 14 hours …
  • Hi Jenergy! That’s cool that you are trying the corn cakes! My boyfriend loved them. The top gets dry first and they are like polenta after 5 hours- but it also depends how thick you did them. I did mine in little cups so the sides didn’t get any ai…
  • Hi Vegan Bear. I went to your site but wasn’t able to write you a comment. Hi anyway! I don’t have a blog but if you could let me know how to leave you a message it might help other people.
  • Hi- The corn pie recipe I submitted recently is kind of like corn bread. I only dehydrated it for about 5 hours but if you dehydrated for 12 or 18 hours it would be more like bread. It has pine nuts and cashews combined with fresh corn. You may want…
  • Hi Taizy! Welcome! And Congratulations!
  • Hi Dea Smiles! I was just wondering- have you noticed any after effect of drinking Maca in a positive way? I wanted to get some and wondered if it had noticable properties.

  • I listened to it last night. It was really good. I thought the moderator did a great job keeping it flowing. It sounded very professional yet touched on some of the deeper philosophies or beliefs that David Wolfe has regarding living water. If he pu…
  • I can’t handle dairy because of my stomach pain but I think humane milk would be good for kids. One of the worst things for kids I think is having them locked up in school all day. They would normally be able to get vitamin d from the sun but they a…
  • Hi Blujett- have you tried (sprouted)garbanzo beans and jalepenos? They are supposed to heighten your mood- there has been a study done on it and they increase endorphins in the blood. I hope you feel better! Hi Stylist chick! I’d say go for it. I l…
  • Hi Jdk, I know people lose a lot of hairs naturally but a couple of foods are supposed to help good hair and nails. Cucumber for the silica, and brazil nuts for the selenium. If you notice that your nails are changing then you might have a deficienc…

  • I was thinking okra would be good in a gumbo dish. Blend the okra to make the base of the gumbo and add spices, tomatoes, onions, peppers, etc. It should be pretty much the same nutrient wise though.
  • Frozen coconut milk would be good. Cucumber that is blended or juiced. Hemp powder smoothies would be good because they are high in protein. Add ginger it is supposed to help with healing and pain. I hope you get well soon!
  • Hi La Petite, I used a spiralizer and did acorn squash and then dehydrated the strips. They were really great. Just add a little hot water to soften them up later. They will keep a really long time too. They also only took a couple hours to get supe…

  • HI I read that eating peppers for a couple months will give you protection from the sun. It takes a while to build up in the body but I think that it is really neat! That is an interesting topic SocaL- that really makes me think. My mom has had skin…
  • Hi Omshanti! That is so great! I can’t wait to hear how it goes!
  • Thanks Kandace! I got to see it in time!
  • Hi I have heard about this before. Sometimes I think maybe it’s caffeine that is stored in my body that is being released- Not sure though. I’m up because the puppy was crying and I needed to take him out. (puppy sitting)
  • Man that psyllium sounds like some hard core stuff. Thanks for letting me know! I didn’t know that about flax. Is it bad to eat more than a couple flax crackers then?
  • Hi This is a hard question! What I’m thinking is if you have a fan and a lamp you could rig it up so the fan blows warm air from the lamp over the crackers. You could line a box with tin foil to reflect the light. If you had a temperature gauge of s…
  • Hi Peanut Pea, I just went to your site and saw the green bean dish. Do you have a recipe for it?
  • I just went to whole foods today and spent over 200.00. I haven’t seen any raw foods there other than produce. It’s pretty over whelming to go in there I didn’t get several things I needed! One heirloom tomato was almost 4.00 and it took the lady a …
  • I think this kind of life style could break up a lot of relationships. That happens to a lot of people out here when they become born again. They separate themselves from their spouse and sometimes even from their children. It’s sad. I think it’s im…
